Previously, Instagram only allowed two people to go live at a time, but now they have doubled down on the idea to open up more possibilities for questions and answers, tutorials, and interviews.

How does Live Rooms work?
To start a live room, just swipe left and choose the live camera option. From there, you can add a title, click the “Rooms” icon, and start adding guests.
Here you can see everyone who has requested to go live with you, but if necessary, you can also search for new guests. Also, you can add them one by one later in the stream.
Posting a live with multiple guests is a great way to increase your reach, as guests’ followers will also be notified of your broadcast.
However, any user who has been blocked by one of the Live Room participants will not be able to join the stream, which makes sense for security reasons.
Live Rooms features

- You can add a maximum of 3 users, one at a time or all three at the same time.

When will you be able to use Live Rooms?
Live Rooms is currently rolling out for everyone on Instagram, both on iOS and Android globally, so soon, everyone will be able to use it.
Instagram expects the launch to reach all users in the first weeks of March.
